Climex offers a reliable online auction platform for energy contracting (electricity, gas and Guarantees of Origin). For businesses, governments and other organizations, our energy auctions provide the most transparent and efficient way of securing their energy needs against true market prices.

In the Netherlands, virtually the entire energy market has participated in our auctions. Over € 450 million worth of contracts has been auctioned on our platform, with contracts ranging from € 10,000 to € 120 million.

Climex assists platform Participants in defining their energy needs and investment profiles prior to the actual auction. The auction process has been developed according to the reversed auction principle, in which the buying party is in control of the process.

While auctions are so far limited to the Netherlands and Belgium, Climex plans to extend activities to other countries in Europe in the near future.
